Defining and Recording Patron Relationships

To create a custom Relationship, select Maintenance > Relationships from the Marketing menu.

When the Relationships window appears, click the New button in the toolbar, or click in the Description field in the table next to the *.

Type in a Description for the new relationship.

Then, from within the Patron form, you can link patrons using these relationships. Click the Relationships tab.

Select Add Relationship, and in the Add Relationship window find a related patron by entering in partial details just like in the Find Patron window. You can choose one of the relationshios you have defined using the dropdown list of options in the Relationship box.

You may need to click the <- Swap Parties -> button if the relationship is the wrong way around initially.
